Wear resistant plate is a material that is welded with a wear-resistant layer on steel plates or pipes, usually using high-quality wear-resistant welding wire. This wear-resistant layer is mainly composed of chromium carbide, and is therefore also known as chromium carbide wear-resistant plate, high chromium alloy wear-resistant plate, or bimetallic wear-resistant plate. Wear resistant plates have high surface hardness, excellent wear resistance, and good substrate toughness, while also being easy to process.
